Family - Andrés is from Ponce, but his parents just moved to a small apartment in Altamesa, San Juan. His mother graduated from Ponce Medical School and now does her internship at Centro Médico. His father teaches mathematics at Mariano Abril Intermediate School in Guaynabo. He has two older sisters, one studying nutrition at Universidad del Turabo and one teaching Spanish in Florida.
School - Andrés plays the clarinet. He has started a group with his friends Cristina and Juanro to play at activities. He loves baseball and plays third base with a team near his home.
Dream - He wants to study at UPR in Río Piedras, and after college, join AmeriCorps VISTA as a volunteer to help the poor Latin community in a big city on the mainland, maybe Philadelphia where he has cousins. Then he wants to study a profession and help Puerto Rico in some way.
