Family - Lives with her Mom and Grandmother in a public housing complex in San Juan. Her parents are divorced, and her father lives in New York. Her mother is a police officer and often works late. Her grandmother is Dominican and sews for clients from her home. She takes care of Cristina and her twin brothers. She loves to cook mangú.
School - Cristina is a serious student and talented in music. She is in the eighth grade at the Escuela Libre de Música Ramos Antonini in Hato Rey. She wants to study at the Conservatory of Music, and graduate to become a music teacher in public schools. She likes popular and folk music.
Dream – To be a composer and sing and record her own songs (singer-songwriter) accompanied by her guitar. She wants to be a leader in music education in Puerto Rico. She would like to marry a musician and see her children become musicians as well.
